TRIVE

Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

The short version. We collect what Trive needs to work: your account, your profile, and the training you log. Your workouts are private, except that members of a programme you join see your name, workout count and records on its leaderboard. No ads, no tracking, and we never sell your data. Our database is in Singapore. Delete your account in the app at any time.

Answers you give before creating an account are kept only on your phone until you sign up, then saved to your account.

Photos come only from pictures you choose to upload. Rest-timer alerts are created on your phone; we do not collect a notification token.

Recommendations. We use your sign-up answers to suggest programmes. We make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly serious effects.

Public means public. Anything other people can see in Trive can also be copied or screenshotted by them. We cannot control what they do with it.

Coaches. Coaches can see who has joined their programmes. Our Terms only allow them to use this inside Trive for their programmes, and not to copy, share or market to you outside Trive.

Featured content. Content that is already public in Trive, such as published programmes, reviews, and the names and profile photos that go with them, may be shown to promote Trive in the app, on our website and on social media. Your private training data is never featured. Email us to ask us to stop featuring you.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.

If Trive is sold. If Trive Ventures or its app is sold or merged, your data may pass to the new owner, who must keep using it as this policy describes.

Our Telegram group. If you join Trive's group on Telegram, Telegram handles your data under its own privacy policy, not this one. Other members of the group can see your Telegram name and anything you post there.

What is kept:

While your account is open, we keep your data for as long as you use Trive.

7. Keeping your data safe

Data is encrypted on its way between the app and our servers. Every record is locked so that only the right person can read or change it. Passwords are hashed, email sign-ins are protected by a bot check, and only Trive's team can reach the admin tools. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and fix problems quickly.

If there is a data breach. If a breach is likely to cause you significant harm, or affects 500 or more people, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission within 3 calendar days of finding that it must be reported, and tell the people affected as soon as we practicably can.

8. Your rights

Email TriveVentures.HQ@gmail.com. We may need to confirm it is really you. For a copy of your data we may charge a reasonable fee, and we will tell you the amount before we start. We reply within 30 days; if we need longer, we will tell you when to expect an answer. If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.

9. Age

Trive is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top.
